Bärenreiter

Bärenreiter is one of the leading publishers of classical music. Since its foundation in 1923, distinguished musicologists worldwide have worked on searching out the manuscripts of the great composers in archives in order to consult these sources, evaluate them and then make them available as Bärenreiter Urtext scores for future generations. The preceding decades have seen the creation and development of unique, major complete editions of musicians such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Hector Berlioz, Georg Friedrich Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert and many others. These complete music editions have created an international standard which is recognised by musicians worldwide. There is scarcely a soloist, orchestral musician or conductor in the world who has not played, and continues to play, from the famous Bärenreiter Urtext scores. Without any exaggeration, it can be said that Bärenreiter is "The Musicians’ Choice"!
